At Vivaldis, inclusion and diversity are at the heart of our concerns and one of our priorities.
This is partly why we took up the challenge to work towards a Multicultural Diversity & Inclusion Assessment in the workplace.
On 28th May ๐ฏ๐ต ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐ถ๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ท๐ฒ๐๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ด๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ to boost multicultural diversity & inclusion in workplace in Belgium.
The event was co-organised by CSR Europe, the Prince Philippe Fund, and the King Baudouin Foundation in the framework of the project ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ง๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฏ๐ฌ.
๐ค Thirty Belgian companies and nine employer federations – VBO FEB, Agoria, Assuralia, Comeos, Denuo, Embuild – The Belgian Construction Association, essenscia, Febelfin, and Federgon – Network for work โ set the way forward to overcome the barriers hindering the employment of individuals with non-EU backgrounds in the Belgian labour market.
Participants discussed the outcomes of the Multicultural Diversity and Inclusion Assessment conducted between 2020-2024 and emphasised the importance of:
โ๏ธ Integrating DEI as strategic priority.
โ๏ธProviding cultural education for HR and leadership as well as ensuring clarity and equity in HR processes and career progression.
โ๏ธEstablishing effective measurement practices to track DEI progress and assess the effectiveness of initiatives.
